<p>Yes, they are paying member and full member. They are part of
Launch and Thrive project and they have a mulltiplier event in
the frame of this project. <br>
</p>
<p>La Smala is now called APTES, and they have been GEN EU members
for several years.</p>

information have come towards GEN-Suisse
concerning La Smala. And GEN-Suisse at its
own has had various negative experiences
with La Smala aswell.<span><br>
<br>
It is also the case that La Smala left the
GEN-Suisse network about 5 years ago. The
fact that it presents itself as
"Ecovillages Romandie" <i>(French part of
Switzerland)</i> is not done in
agreement with GEN-Suisse.<br>

We visited la Smala a year ago and
explained what steps it would need to take
to become part of GEN-Suisse. Since then
we have not heard back from them. During
the visit at their place, we got doubts
whether they meet the democratic
requirements of an ecovillage, for example
in decision-making. </span></font></div>

recovered the money invested <i>(despite

worrying for Erasmus-funded events to take
place at La Smala under the name of
GEN-Europe.<br>
