<div>Thank you for your attention to GEN-Russia and your
willingness to support us. It is extremely important to us.</div>

<div>Due to the political situation in Russia, companies and
citizens that demonstrate relations with Western organizations
immediately become suspect, with negative consequences. That is
why GEN-Russia, as an organization, cannot be active. However,
we can still pay our membership dues to GEN-Europe and maintain
our legal status as a Russian NGO. We transferred our membership
payment for 2024 this January. The Russian ecovillage network as
a community is still operational; most of our members and other
ecovillages remain active.</div>

<div>Regarding visiting the GA and Gathering, I will consult with
my colleagues at our nearest meeting. Unfortunately, previous
attempts to visit were unsuccessful due to visa application
rejections. Part of our group moved to Europe 2-3 years ago.
Perhaps some of them will have the opportunity to come. On the
other hand, we fully understand that as citizens of a state
responsible for the war, our presence could upset some guests,
and it would require a high level of facilitation to ensure
processes proceed smoothly despite this tension. If we find the
possibility to send our representative to meetings, I will let
you know in advance.</div>
