<p>I had a call with my dad and he advised the following: <br>
</p>
<p>To be very honest with the German tax office: <br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>That the data from Lexware got lost but we have the receipts
and bank account statements to reconstruct</li>
<li>That we don't have a tax advisor but still looking for one -
at least from 2025 onwards</li>
<li>And ask what would be there deadline (e.g. 6 months)</li>
<li>how to deal with not having a charity status and receiving
donations and wanting to give donation receipts<br>
</li>
</ul>
<p>My dad also informed me that the finance office is obligated to
support with getting paperwork in order. </p>
<p>If you agree with this I'd <b>send a mail to the tax office on
Tuesday</b>, attaching the PDFs I got from Armin that confirm
him submitting reports last year. I'd be available via phone for
them as well. Once I got clarity on the deadline from them I'd let
you know if we need to outsource the reconstruction or not. <br>
</p>
<p>My dad is also fine with me being home and doing it together with
him. He's happy just to have me home for a little bit more and not
asking for money. He's also got someone who's doing the
bookkeeping for a local charity he might be able to ask for
support too. <br>

authorities in Germany. So you decide if this makes sense or
not. In Slovenia we have a mechanism that is called
self-declaration (when an legal entity discovers that there were
mistakes in submited tax reports) and tax office gives them
time to put the paperwork in order. <br>
</p>
<p>If we have paper archive, we can maybe outsource the
reconstruction of data as you may not have time to do it
alongside the ongoing tasks? Please think of that, and commit
to what you can handle within your current life situation
rather then take on a burden heavier than you can carry. If we
outsource, do you know someone who can do it?<br>
</p>
<p>A note to the council: The staff proposes to pay Annika the
real working hours not the 30 hours in the contract, as she is
dealing with much more then anticipated. In original plan we
would pay Axiom service, which we so far haven't engage as we
don't have data to show them. So the budget is available. I
hope this can be consented to. (I wanted to bring it to the
council meeting but as we are online and the meeting is being
postponed I am bringing it here). </p>

<p>thanks for the reply. Thomas wrote me on Tuesday afternoon
that he would be going this afternoon but I haven't heard from
him yet. Once I got a reply I'll let you know. And I'd say
that if matters aren't cleared we'll have to involve police as
the situation is bad and I hope that the German tax office is
going to be forgiving as the reports to renew the charity
status should have been done in 2022 and supposedly Armin
wanted to do it (see attachment with translation). <br>

<p>I've had a good call with Manja (put her in CC, forgot with
the first mail) and I'm trying to detach myself from feeling
responsible - which is hard as I love GEN Europe and I don't
want to cause more trouble or do a bigger mess as I'm doing
things currently as if we had a charity status... <br>

<p>I'll try to get the documents together needed for the renewal
and hope to have good news about the last bits of data as
well. <br>

höre - zumindest mit einer Erklärung, warum ich
weiterhin den bereinigten Jahresabschluss 2019 sowie
die Jahresabschlüsse 2020 bis 2023 nicht habe. <br>

<p>Da die Kommunikation sehr schwierig war und ich
gefühlt von Irland aus dir nicht genug Unterstützung
anbieten kann, habe ich Thomas Heuser gefragt, ob er
persönlich bei dir vorbeikommen könnte, um
Lexware-Export und Ordnerabholung fürs Jahr 2023
machen zu können. <br>

könnte ja auch am 10.10. passieren, wenn das der
