Dear Iishana,

Thank you for your email and for your questions. It is difficult to
answer them all at once, and I'm sure that each one of the people on
this list will have different approaches based on their experience.

- GEN Europe has a so-called incentive-based project acquisition scheme.
You can find it here
<https://cloud.gen-europe.org/nextcloud/index.php/s/KTs4N7A3HpcX4TR>. We
used it a few times in the past, I think always with people that had
been previously volunteering either in the office in Arterra or at the
gathering (and that we trusted). At the same time, we try to limit the
amount of proposals in which we take part, and we try to focus on a few
well-thought projects across different programmes.

- Scouting and deciding about the right calls is a quite complex task,
and at the moment we don't have a defined go/no-go procedure. The
Project WG itself is an important place where information is shared. I'd
be happy to dedicate some time to this topic in one of our next
meetings, if there is interest.

- As Projects WG, we organise 1-2 online intro sessions per year (very
basic) and we also try to run at least one edition of the project
creation training course under Erasmus+ per year, often in collaboration
with one of our members as host and coordinator. This February we will
apply to host the next one in Arterra next October.

- If you didn't receive the invitation to partner in the future
trainins, you can find it here
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rEPFTrjvfXkPoDriTQ3dL__qwtxuTzY9u79g96CCNrk/edit?usp=sharing>.

Looking forward to continue this conversation in a live call :)

All the best,
