Hello dears,

Teodor from NC Future now, whom has my contact from the partnership for the project creation training that GEN just applyed for, wrote this email.

I thought about involving RIVE, but RIVE is already in 5 ka2 applications and ther isn't human capacity for more. So I share it with you, in case you don't have enough yet (joking eheh).
 Warmly,
 Valeria

  Dear Valeria and Antonino,
We are building a European consortium for a KA220-YOU (Cooperation Partnership in Youth) project focused on nature-based, ecocentric youth work delivered in youth centres, outdoor learning spaces, eco-communities and community hubs across the EU.

Working concept

Youth NEST 2.0 – fostering nature-based, ecocentric local youth work
We aim to strengthen the quality and recognition of youth work by:

   -
upskilling youth workers in nature-based practice, ecocentric literacy, and regenerative community approaches,

   -
co-developing practical resources (toolkit/guide + open educational resources),

   -
piloting local youth programmes in partner spaces/centres,

   -
building an EU network for replication and policy relevance.

This concept builds on an existing KA220-YOU proposal structure (work packages, training, local pilots, dissemination), while improving the areas evaluators typically look for: stronger needs analysis, clearer expert capacity, tighter integration of outputs, inclusion/accessibility, and realistic sustainability pathways.

Who we’re looking for (associated or full partners)

We welcome organisations such as:

   -
Eco-communities / ecovillages (e.g., GEN Europe members), land-based learning sites, permaculture hubs

   -
Youth centres with outdoor / experiential programming

   -
Youth NGOs working with rural youth and/or young people with fewer opportunities

   -
Training providers for youth workers (ToT experience is a plus)

   -
Research/impact partners (evaluation, learning design, digital OER platforms)

Expected partner contribution (flexible)

Depending on your capacity, you could:

   -
host a pilot youth programme (and document outcomes),

   -
co-create or review the toolkit / learning modules,

   -
provide trainers/mentors for youth workers,

   -
contribute a strong methodology (eco-therapy, deep nature connection, regenerative practices, inclusion, digital learning tools),

   -
support dissemination through your network.

What partners gain

   -
EU-level cooperation and visibility in a high-priority field (green + youth work quality)

   -
Co-ownership of open resources and methods usable in your regular work

   -
Structured peer learning and capacity building with practitioners across Europe

   -
Opportunity to scale your practice through an EU partnership and network.

Next step (Expression of Interest)

If you’re interested, please reply with:

   -
Organisation name + OID (if you have one).

   -
5–7 lines on your experience in nature-based / ecocentric youth work.

   -
What role you’d like (pilot host / training / toolkit / evaluation / dissemination).

   -
Target groups you work with (age range, fewer opportunities, rural/urban).

   -
1–2 relevant projects or references (links are fine).

EOI deadline: 23.01.2026, after you send us a confirmation email we will answer with the link for the meeting.
 Short online partner meeting: 24.01.2026

Warm regards,
